Between the two of us, we’ve spent more than 45 years in this industry — actually living it. We’ve been behind the chair, we’ve built teams, we’ve rebuilt culture after tough seasons, and we still run our own million-dollar commission salons today. 
We’re not teaching from theory. We’re teaching from real experience, from years that stretched us, shaped us, and showed us what a salon truly needs to be healthy and stable.

Before The Beauty Biz Agency existed, we were just like every other owner trying to find answers. We signed up for every coaching program we could find, hoping someone would finally hand us the full roadmap. But every time, we walked away with pieces… never the whole thing. 
Nobody taught the structure, the numbers, the leadership, the culture work, the compensation, the systems, the career growth paths — all the things an owner needs to run a business that actually grows and makes money, not just stays busy.

We were always left filling in the gaps on our own.

Brie Holt is one of the few coaches in the beauty industry who actually does the work she teaches. She isn’t retired, she isn’t teaching from old success, and she isn’t guessing. She actively runs a multi-million-dollar commission salon while coaching owners across the country on how to build businesses that are profitable, structured, sustainable, and built to last.
Her career didn’t start with a silver spoon. She began as a solo stylist who loved the beauty industry but refused to settle for burnout or survival mode. With a background shaped by entrepreneurs in her family, she approached the industry differently from day one — always looking at the bigger picture, always searching for the “why” behind what works.

CHANDRA CHRISWISSER

Chandra Chriswisser, partner of The Beauty Biz Agency, brings over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry. Starting her career as a stylist in 1998, she has navigated the complexities of working in commission salons and thriving as a solo artist, giving her a unique perspective.

From Stylist to Successful Salon Owner
In 2008, Chandra took a significant leap by opening her first salon, followed by a second in 2021. With help from Brie as her coach and Chandra's leadership, these businesses have collectively generated over $1.5 million in annual revenue. Her journey through the industry has not only been marked by success but also by a deep commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Passion for Teaching
Chandra's passion for  mentoring blossomed early in her career. Initially, she shared her expertise in hair color and extensions as a trainer for prominent brands like Aveda and So Cap. These experiences honed her skills in developing comprehensive training programs, which became the backbone of the apprenticeship opportunities offered at her salons.

Transforming Challenges into Opportunities
Chandra's road to success was paved with trials and triumphs. It was through these experiences, and with the help of coaching, that she discovered and refined the business strategies that significantly enhanced her salon's performance. Recognizing the transformative impact of coaching and changing of these strategies, she was inspired to share her knowledge more broadly, and decided to partner with her former coach (brie) leading to the creation of The Beauty Biz Agency.
